Expo’s reasoning – unemployment rate

One of the most recent two thousand and thirteen surveys claims that the current unemployment rate six months after graduation for the class of 2013 is 7.3%. Fortunately for the expanding media, students studying design courses, the rate is slightly higher for getting a job after graduation. It is also said that graduates from 2009 who were out of work after 6 months, only 12% were still out of work three years later. It is clear to see that the current rate of employment after university is dropping and that raises concern. The idea behind the project is so that these students who find it ever growingly difficult to find a graduate job straight out of education have a means of supporting themselves, doing what they are good at rather than completing bar or waitressing work. It enables students to still advance their skills and practise their work while earning some money for themselves and gaining important contacts.
